I have fun with the pursuit! Having the Yankees' rookie league team a little over an hour away for the past several years has been GREAT! I don't keep a separate list of who has been on the major league team, though. As I have tried to keep up with the recent (last 5+ years) propects making the main club, but also watching the annual transactions too, I commend you for going after minor league players so feverishly. It seems you have a good way to capture so many of them in the early stages, which may have already and/or will help in the future landing a bigger name BEFORE they get big. I have a single A tream very close to me, but I have only made a few select games, usually when they are giving out something like the annual card set or had preplanned autograph signings. Plus they are a Mariners farm club, not the Dodgers. If the Dodgers had a farm club as close, I would likely be a season ticket holder and frequent autograph chaser.
I tried to keep up with sub-major league trades and signings, but I found that too many never made the big team and/or were released or traded/sold before ever making the club.
Do you have any idea how many unique signatures you have of players who actually suited up for the NY Yankees?
