My Yount collection scanned, but a sad story UPDATE (Sun)

Here's some good news up front this time. No, I didn't find the card (i know, I know, stop looking). But Mamunrud sold me this today at a show here in Madison. And it's really moved up as far as a favorite in my collection. Just thought I'd share.

Well, it's about time I got around to properly scanning my Yount collection. This is just the autos and a few of the nicer patches and inserts. The sad story is at the end, just in case you don't want a downer up front.

and now the sad story:

While I was organizing these cards (you know, sorting them, checking them over and moving them to one bax to live with my Braun collection->that way i only have to grab 1 box in a fire) and as i went thru, I noticed that i hadn't seen one. I looked thru my entire PC box, my PC prospect box and even my firebox ("Hi Braun Chrome Blue auto and others"); but it was no where to be seen. I have no idea what on earth could have heppened to it. And I'll probably never see another one like it.

So, for the last time ( ) I present to you my favorite Brewer card...

I'm going to bed to cry myself to sleep now.

PS: i wonder if the dog got it and my wife never told me, for fear of the dog's life? Like I'd hurt the dog; the dog cost more than the card anyway.

you have an amazing Yount collection. the Yount Molitor card will show up you just need to stop looking for awhile and it will appear.

Great collection. Just looked at all the Yount cards in the case tonight here at the shop since I'm bored. Don't know where we got it from but we have a SWEET 2005 Upper Deck Hall Worthy Jersey (Pin Stripe) Auto 1/15 that I might have to pick up.

Great cards.Too bad about the last one but if you never do find it...worse case scenario there are always 9 others out there.At least it wasn't a 1/1!

Sweet collection. I'm sure your card will turn up.

I found a card that had been missing for over a year a couple of weeks ago...it was raw and in a penny sleeve, and I had placed it between two SGC slabs, and the slabs inside of a slab bag. I took the slabs out to give each their own bag, and out popped the card I had been looking for since 2007.
