This prospect made his debut in the BA Prospect Handbook at # 19 on his team's Top 30 list two years ago. Highlights from his scouting report included:

- Former member of USA Baseball's Youth and Jr. National teams.
- Attracted strong interest from many teams for abilities on the mound with two plus pitches -- FB and slider.
- Worked as a closer in HS, but always preferred to be a position player (where he currently plays).
- Only 17 when drafted.
- Above average power with a smooth stroke from the left side.
- Displays good footwork at his position and excellent reactions.
- Has an exceedingly strong arm for his position.

I think I made it sufficiently hard enough this time. Name this kid!

Jaypers - Don't let it get you down. Just goes to show that there's a lot of knowledge on these boards. Lot of knowledge.

Yeah right, he fished out his old prospect handbook and looked for the #19 prospect! J.P., next time don't tell which handbook its out of. Just say he was a former # whatever prospect. Don't say for either the organization or overall, etc. That will make it a little harder :D

The reason why I mentioned which handbook each prospect debuted in is because most people are at work at this time of day and I'm guessing don't have older copies of it with them.
