I am not sure where I stand on this. The Angels had/have money and couldn't get anyone to take it. I think they are better now, but they are also tied in long term for a ton more cash.
I told everyone and anyone that would listed over the last couple years. TONY REAGINS HAS NO CLUE. I worked for him for a year when he was the head of player development. He never played, he was an intern that the previous GM liked and brought him over to baseball operations.
I had many conversations with him that proved that he had no idea what he was looking at. He has proven multiple times since he has taken over that he is NOT meant to be running a major league baseball team.
The people that I know still there have told me that he is the GM because Arte can run the show, and the "advisors", Stoneman, etc, can pull the strings.
