I'm in for one Aminu Patch /99 and one Wesley Johnson Patch /99 both of which I picked up at the National for $250 total.

I was guessing they would be in the $60 to $125 (for a premium patch) for the base /99 versions. I think Wesley is going to be a stud, and really even at the $90 to $140 should be considered a great price, I was just waiting for the prices to drop once the newness wears off.

Not too sure they will drop down to in the $60-$80 range because of a few factors. #1 - they are so limited, 124 of these (99+25) total, #2 - not a ton being busted due to the fact there are so few big hits, #3 - he was a high draft pick and very recognizable name and #4 - these just sell well, a guy like Johnny Flynn who has done little nothing in his NBA career still sells like this - [phil:1emhfrub]260829594843[/phil:1emhfrub]

I'd rather invest in Derrick Williams than Wesley Johnson, but I like both guys. Too expensive for me though.

I'm surprised people like Johnson. I'm no talent evaluator, but I just don't see it. Even if he does break out, he's not in a market that is going to be on national TV much.

Its a shame that he puts such a crappy auto on such a beautiful card. I love these sets, I wish I could afford a few of the guys I played against in high school. I guarded Paul George for a few possesions and would love to grab his but they are pretty dang expensive.
