I am looking to pick up a few rc auto patches, really like the look of them. Was also thinking of trying a box or two. How often do the rookie patch autos fall per case, and if I go the singles route who are some of the cheaper guys with the most upside

I don't think they ever made any sort of guarantee on it......but the norm was hitting a rookie patch/auto per box.

I never really followed the prices on those, so not sure who would be the best buy. I do know though for a while it seemed all the cards in that set were trending up.

Do not buy boxes, the return on value is horrible unless you hit one of the big three patch autos. Stick to singles, however they mostly have dried up online so good luck finding the players you are looking for. If you would like, pm who you are looking for and I can keep an eye out for them at shows I attend

RAP's fell usually 1-2 per case. There was no real set allocations but sometimes the cases could have 1 and as many as 5. Per case you would usually have a case hit being a logoman, a dual tag, or a 1/1. with the price of the cases where they are, it would be best to just buy the RAP's that you are looking for before the season starts.
