Well the Rockets are out of it & I'm not bitter one bit, in fact I'm surprised we got this far (I just HOPE that some of our "higher up's" in the organization saw what type of team the Rockets are without the likes of Yao & McGrady). I hope that in the offseason we can work on building around the "true" heart of our team & can also work towards trading off the several guy's who are weighting the team down! I think the Lakers are definitely better than this Houston Rockets team & am surprised they didn't make it a 4 or 5 game series (to me that is telling in the sense that LA needs to grab a mirror, sit in front of it, & take a good long look at what they're doing & who needs to "step up")! In my opinion, if the Rockets can keep this tempo of basketball up & actually spend an offseason practicing it (instead of the game plan that has been etched in stone the past several year's- that revolves around the ball always going through Yao first & playing to his strong points); I think we could come back & advance in a situation like this! Anyhow, that's just my insight on this ball club & how I think the outlook is from this series! Good Luck to the LA Lakers & thier fans (you beat us now you better make us look good & win out the rest of your games, so we don't look like we were beat by a team that got beat by another team, that got beat by another team)! :D

Lakers should win and the Celtics will easily take care of Orlando.

Easily? That is a bold statement.

I say Orlando by 4.
Yes Orlando is not very good and Celtics are good enough to take care of them without Garnett. Plus we had an extra day of rest which helps us and we are at home. We are not the 76ers!!!
Let me just clarify, you are talking about the team that has taken the Celts to 7 games and would've won in 6 if it weren't for a miracle buzzer beater by Big Baby, correct? If so, do you read what you write before you post it? No wonder everyone else in the US thinks us Bostonians are idiots.

Either team gets swept by the Cavs. Neither team is very good.

The Celtics have had one of their best players in a slump all series (Allen), and one playing tired (Pierce). The person playing the best in the series can't knock down an open jumper. Their front line is very very weak right now and if one person gets in foul trouble they have to rely on heavy minutes from Scal. So if pushing the Celtics to game 7 makes the Magic a good team then so be it, but I just don't see it.
It's fine if you say neither team is any good. But the post I replied to implied that the Magic suck, and the Celtics are awesome. Whether they suck or not, they are good enough to push the Celts to 7, so no game could be considered a lock.

The reason the Magic are winning this game is exactly the reason they can't win a championship. They're shooting 67% from behind the arc right now and only winning by 4. Maybe it is just me, but that 67% isn't going to last over multiple games or a full series. They may win this one, but they don't stand a chance against the cavs.

The best I can see either team doing against Cleveland is one win.

Van Gundy is begging Ray Allen to get hot by putting Reddick on him

The Magic's hot shooting has to slow down eventually... I expect the Celtics to climb back in this one.

Magic vs. Nuggets :ugeek:

You're really sticking to that even though there is 0% chance of it happening. I'll give you the Nuggets, but no way the Magic beat the Cavs.

There is a thing called Luck which Orlando clearly has which will run out with the Cavs. I still stand by the fact the they do suck and its a shame if they move on as the Celtics would have a better shot at Cleveland. You will see once they get swept by the Cavs. As far as being an idiot I do usually take shots at anybody but maybe you should look in the mirror!!

IF it happens should I apply for a job as a NBA analyst on ESPN? Or better yet TNT so I can be with my man Chuck, we'll just kick C-web out.

Losing to a team who hasn't lost a playoff game in two rounds and won 66 regular season games doesn't mean a team sucks. I can't name a single "lucky" play that changed a game for the Magic. What do you have against the Magic? They took your boys to the wood shed this series. Like I said, if the Celts 4th option didn't knock down that buzzer beater in Orlando, this series is over in 6. By your logic, there is one truly good team in the NBA, and that's Cleveland.
I know you're sad that you can't watch KG show up the other team from the bench anymore, but at least pretend like you're objective.

The rockets really piss me off.The lakers are good but not that damn good. They gave that game away. The Rockets are so dumb sometimes. Its why I swore off basketball for like 10 years and I may start again. That or I may just root for the Mavs since my favorite player plays for them anyways.I can see losing a game but the Rockets allowed themselves to be blown out. They pass the ball like they think they are the Harlem Globe trotters and they always double team and leave someone open for a three. Then they never get any damn boards. They always(and I really do mean always) wait until there is like 6 seconds on the shot clock before they even start a play.Every time. And inevitable they get stuck with no open shot and they throw up something that looks like a train wreck and of course get nothing.

Its really frustrating to watch.I really believe you could have taken 5 dudes off the street and put them in uniforms and they would have played better. And no...I am not a bandwagon fan but this kind of stuff is just needless. It really is.I don't mind a team losing but when you do it for lack of effort and because you obviously don't know how to play the game...I have little respect for that. Its why a lot of people I was talking to said they felt the playoffs were rigged. Its hard to see this kind of stuff and not wonder if it was intentional.

the people who think the games are rigged are just mad that there teams are not as good as the celtics, lakers, and cavs

A little disclaimer...I am not a bandwagon fan nor do I hate any other team.I like just about all teams and several players from each.

But please don't ever fool yourself. At least not for me.I am not bitter that the Rockets don't have any stars. We do.They were hurt and out.So I do believe if we had at least had Yao we could have competed a little better. But the fact that the Rockets pushed this hard just meant they could have gone further. They played like dog crap tonight. And I know they were capable. That's what makes me bitter. They let themselves down. They are the ones who can't advance year after freaking year. And its not because they are not as good as the Lakers. They are.Obviously.But this super hot and super cold stuff is for the birds. They were making dumb mistakes.Like I said...I don't mind normal mistakes but they did not play as well or as hard as they could have.Anyone who thinks they did is blind. The Rockets should be dissapointed. Not for losing but for not showing up to the game with 100% motivation to win.I honestly don't care whether or not they are NBA or not.I have seen better games at the local park and no...I'm not kidding.

And don't bring up Cleveland in the who's better than who thing.Without Lebron...that team is nothing and there is not one person on this board that could ever prove different and if you don't believe that...just wait until he is gone and lets see what kind of conversation we are having then. Its a running joke around here that its not the Cavs but rather just Team Lebron. He is a one man team.He really is that good.

Like I said...I am not mad because the Rockets lost but why they lost. And when you watch a team play as hard as they did at times...it makes you wonder what the hell happened. How they could seem so hungry one game and then like they didn't care the next.I mean...it almost seems like they threw the game.Anyone who watched that series and didn't scratch their head was not paying attention.I am not saying they threw the game for sure.I could never prove that and to say I could would be stupid. But I really wonder what went wrong. The passes were reminescent of the Harlem Globe Trotters. The waiting until there is 6 seconds on the shot clock before even trying to start the play seems dumb at best and retarded at worst. The very predictable double team or triple team on one guy not even in the paint to leave two other guys wide open(who happen to be pretty sharp in the three point range) makes me wonder if they are so easily confused or if they were just like "screw it".

All I am saying is it didn't make a lick of sense. And no...not everyone wants to see the Lakers play the Celtics. In fact...I would'nt even watch.Maybe if Team Lebron is playing....

When Dwight Howard and Gortat are making free throws they nomally do not make (In the whole series) that is luck. When Mickael Pietrus is knocking down 3pts more than Ray Allen through out the series that is Luck. I could go on and on. Point being they will not be knocking down those shots against the Cavs and is upsetting that they had to get lucky against my Celtics. I dont know maybe Im just bitter because we got beat  . As for Kg yes I will miss his mug on the bench but will always know that had he been healthy we would of swept the Magic. It is what it is!!

Orlando really controlled this series,if Garnett playes, they beat Orlando. As for Orlando beating Cleveland, thats not going to happen.I see Cleveland winning in 5,maybe 6.

I look for Z to have a great Series, because he can hit that 18-20 foot jumper and Howards nevers comes out of the circle.

Dwight Howrd makes FT = Luck
(Insert Boston player) makes FT = Clutch

(Insert Magic player) misses jump shot = Good defense
Ray Allen missed jump shot = Luck for Magic
