Orlando by 19, not 4. That's way off.

Still makes me lol. Winning "Easily" and losing by 19 is the same as someone predicting the team to win by 4 insted of 19.

I have been laughing for a month now at how the Boston Celtics fans conduct themselves. As I pointed out earlier in this thread.
Dwight Howrd makes FT = Luck
(Insert Boston player) makes FT = Clutch

(Insert Magic player) misses jump shot = Good defense
Ray Allen missed jump shot = Luck for Magic

Its amazing how the Celtics can never do wrong and the teams they play are always horrible. Not just on this site, but pretty much every site I am on. Its always the same. It just makes me laugh anymore.

Its Lebron syndrome dude.Just like without Lebron the Cavs wouldn't do jack...the Celtics would never have beaten the Cavs without Kevin so it matters little.Same thing all over the league. You take the major star off of any team and they are not going anywhere.Just like the Bulls without Jordan, the Rockets without Yao, the Celtics without Garnet, the Cavs without Lebron, the Lakers without Kobe.I think people far undermine the fact that unlike a lot of other sports...basketball is an individual sport just as much as a team sport. One person really can make that big of a difference.

I don't think anyone would argue that the Celtics don't advance if KG plays. They would have made a joke of that series.Sure they have some solid guys but with KG...they really are the team to beat.Without him they push the envelope but not quite enough to open it.

People forget, Leon Powe was out too. He was a huge part of the Celtics matchup with the Magic.

I also love how everyone says Paul Pierce is tired, get outta here. The Lakers had Gasol/Kobe. Both played all the way till the finals last year, both played in the Olympics, Plus Kobe still has to get surgery on his hand! Would love to hear Paul Pierce say he is the best on the planet again.

Wow, there are alot of bitter post's in this thread (& by the looks of some of them, they're grasping for dang near anything)! I've come to realize that everyone that's trying to argue about thier team losing or how they lost, is fighting a futile battle (it's over & done, and no matter how much we want to believe it to be true- we are not basketball analyst's & aren't accurately informed as to what's truely going on behind the scene's)! ;) :D

Me too, I just realize that my team just isn't/wasn't that good and the team they were playing is good no matter how much I don't like them. O and have you guys heard that the Magic and Nuggets are in the NBA finals? :D

I am not sure if your post was aimed at me(not saying it was but I would at least like to explain my thoughts) but I am not necessarily grasping for anything.I really believe they played like dog crap. That much was evident. To hell with what is going on behind the scenes. When you do what the Rockets did...its plain weird no matter what you want to throw into the equation.

One of my biggest beefs is how most people think you are just being a crybaby when your team loses.Nothing pisses me off more.I had to sit there and watch the astros reach the only world series they have ever been to only to have their hopes dashed. Why?Because Chicago was a better team.I will admit that. The astros did everything they could have. And after that series I had so much respect for the white sox because they were firing on all cylinders.

My beef with the Rockets is it seemed so unrealistic that they would play the way they did and call it normal.I mean there was some serious boneheaded stuff.Things that most professionals would not do.Things that just seemed like street ball.No focus no trying to win.Just screwing around with your friends on a saturday morning at the park type of stuff. They did not seem serious.I don't know what it means other than they will now be watching from home but I do know it was downright odd.I wouldn't have been all that upset if they lost a well fought out game but they did not. They goofed around.I can't respect that as a fan and somebody who supports the team.

On another note...I don't think half of these analysts know what they are talking about.I could easily pick apart a lot of their opinions in a matter of seconds. You don't have to be a genius to know anything about a sport. Its not rocket science. There are some very fundamental things that need to be done in order to have a chance to win.You can put whatever colorful spin on that fact that you want but the message is the same no matter what font its written in.

Well, I wasn't entirely directing my statement at your post's but now that you mention it, what "exactly" were the Rockets not doing correctly? I mean they obviously weren't hitting shots but that's basketball, sometimes you're on & sometimes you're cold; I can't say that I honestly saw anything than the Rockets being out-played & out-hustled (when you play a team with that kind of experience in these situation's & are playing at home, this kind of game can happen). I was let down but I had to give it to our Rockets for playing the way they did in that series, as everyone & thier momma's were saying we had NO CHANCE IN HELL when Yao went down & look how the Rockets made them "naysayer's" look (sure we lost but we went all 7)! :D

What I was referencing was the passes and the shots they decided to take and waiting until there was 6 seconds on the shot clock to even get the play going and predictably double teaming somebody and leaving Derek Fisher or Farmar or one of their other sharp shooters open.I mean...come on...some of those passes look like something I saw in a street ball tournament. There were several turnovers that were not due to good defense but were due to somebody clowning around.Seriously it was really like watching a bunch of 12 year olds play. They looked like they were trying to have fun and goof around...not be serious and win the game.I really can't think of anything else to tell you.I mean...they played with no intensity. You can still do that when your down. They didn't.It looked like they didn't even want to be playing.

And I don't know how many times they actually tried to shoot the ball just as the shot clock buzzer went off.It happened more than once.More than twice. That wasn't due to good defense. It was due to waiting until 6 seconds was left before they shot. And its not a hindsight being 20/20 type of thing either. You don't waste time like that until the end of the game when you are up and you have to to keep the other team from getting as many possessions as possible.Everyone knows that. All of this seemed deliberate. It really did not seem like they wanted to win.Not that they were tired or their heart was not in it but that they just flat out didn't care.Anyone who actually watched that game would have a hell of a time trying to argue different. You may think I am crazy but its there for you to see.

I saw, I just didn't see what you claim to have seen (I guess it's just different perspective's & opinion's on what we each witnessed, as this is a common occurrence & has been throughout time; where 2 individual's can watch the exact samething yet give 2 totally different description's of what they had seen...I guess it boils down to perception, what we focussed on, & what we saw/think we saw!?!?! )... :D
