Personally, I hope Goodell slams him with a suspension for the remainder of the season. He's had like 10 unnecessary incidents and to be honest in football I'm all for helmet to helmet hits (not on QB) and I'm all for big hits and big plays but with the game being as dangerous as it is stepping on a lineman's arm after he blocked you fairly is just unnecessary. This guy is honestly disgusting he's way worse than Haynesworth he's extremely dirty and just ridiculous. I wouldn't want him on my team I'd boo him at the stadium. He needs to realize he's now playing with men and there is just no place for that I really don't wanna see someone stepping on a lineman and ripping someone's helmet off lol. What'd you guys think?

I wouldn't suspend him for the rest of the season.

First time suspension should always be one game unless it was absolutely ridiculous. He's not the first player to stomp on a fellow player, so let's not go crazy.

I do think he should be required to take some sort of anger management class though. It seems like he has no idea how to contain his emotions and lets them get the best of him too often.

I hope he moves on from this incident and matures up, as he has the ability to be one of THE best defensive players in the league, but his ill advised temper tantrums and reactions will get him on every referees **** list extremely quick.

Yeah I think it will be a game and a fine as well. Nothing wrong with intensity but you have to harness that intensity and use it for good. A young team with a ton of talent. Hopefully he learns from it and moves on.

The one thing that pisses me off is how he explained it...he is an absolute liar. A complete and utter liar. He flat out lied "I was losing my balance, I had to push the guys head down and then stomp on the guy to save my balance, the man upstairs knows". Are you kidding me, he just lied to god's face.

And I agree if this was first incident give one game at absolute most, but c'mon look at what he's done this season. It's ridiculous. Goodell has been incredibly generous not to suspend him yet. Haynesworth got 5 games for stomping on a player...and he doesn't have the insane history Suh already has.

He is delusional.

"Stomping on an opposing player is basically just getting your balance."

Where have I heard that before? Oh! I know!

"Pepper spray is basically a food."

He will get the Dennis Rodman treatment from here on out. He does something questionable he will get tossed.

I'm not sure it works the same in football. Maybe I'm wrong but in games at least in my opinion it rarely happens that players are full on ejected. I think the solution is exponentially to fine him more and more after each hit and suspend longer and longer until he could be threatened with a lifetime ban if he doesn't stop. It's really ridiculous and lying like that to the media and all the fans and in essence he is making Goodell look like an idiot and I'm sure he knows he's trying to make him look stupid

He's just so athletic and strong that it looked like he mounted a guy, rubbed his face in the dirt, and then stomped the player. In reality, he just cleanly brushed him out of the way and walked away before the whistle blew.

Or at least that's the story he'll jot down in his diary before he goes to sleep tonight. Great way to follow up your visit with Goodell over how you feel you're being persecuted for hard hitting but clean football.

He plays violently!!! This was common place a decade or two back. I got no beef with a fine and vacation but comparing this to Albert haynesworth stepping on a dudes head is a stretch.

Tom he is that good. He's that strong, that fast, that determined, and draws double to triple teams play after play. He is the reason vandenbosch and fairely get their pressure. While his stats are off from last year it's only because he draws attention. Aside from today and the preseason hit on Dalton what are the other dirty hits? And don't say the cutler shove from last year that was weak!

He needs to realize teams will bait him and he must control himself. The success of his team depends on him staying mentally engaged in foozeball

He's good he isn't THAT good. I wouldn't compare him to the elite of the elite lineman in the league yet. If you're arguing he isn't a dirty player then good luck with that one. What about the hit with Delhomme? Guess that one was just a commonplace hit. Oh, and what about what he said after the game, he lost his balance and shoved his head into the ground and stepped on the guy to keep his balance, do you think that's the truth?
