Near No Hitters this year...

It may be just me, but does it seem like there have been an awful lot of games with a pitcher having a no-hitter five innings or later this year? Now mind me, I know a no hitter late in a game is not important if he does not succeed, but just thought it was interesting.

Just thought I say, since this thread two more no hitters, (perfect games) have happened, and one more should of happened tonight!

I think even crazier has been the perfect game situation. There were 18 during the first 100 years of baseball, and it seems there might be 18 more this season alone. What's up with all the perfect games? If it wasn't for that blown call on the last out tonight, there would have been 3 perfect games within 3 weeks of each other.
