This was a big reason why I wouldn't have started both Manningham/Smith over Collie, it just doesn't normally pay off to do so (same goes for 2 RB's on the same team, though R.Brown/R.Williams would beg to differ). When doing so, you may end up getting a big game from 1 & a decent from the other but you are limiting your opportunity to have that "big game" from both of your WR slot's (as I'm not sure I can remember the last time 2 WR's have a huge game on the same team?). Anyhow, sorry AKA as I wish I had a crystal ball & could've guaranteed you solid production with my selection's but as I stated above, all ya can really do is go by recent offensive pattern's, production, target's, & the opponent's defensive ranking & scheme's, etc...other than that it is an educated guess (some manager's lean more heavily towards the "guess" side of it) :lol:
Good Luck bro, I hope the rest of your squad blows up! I personally have Manningham in several league's so I have to root for him, though the reason I didn't tell you to go with him over S.Smith is because if I had S.Smith & Manningham on the same squad I believe the safer play is Smith...otherwise I woulda been all for my "homer" pick of Manningham being that I own him in most of my league's (but I think you made the right call & thank goodness you went V.Davis, I can't express that enough- which I started him in most of my league's because I didn't have a better option...Honestly, given what I had to go off of & the matchup, if I had to do it over again it would've been Celek- who was to know A.Smith was going to be put in...as I type this VD scored yet another friggin TD!!! :shock: :lol:
Edit- V.Davis has been bittersweet because I started him in most league's though it sickens me that they are going to beat my Texans because of his play! :?
