Happy thanksgiving everyone.

I have written a few of you individually but will throw this question out to the group.

I have been offered a factory sealed set of 29 cards The 1988 Best Platinum San Bernardino Spirt 88 set and need advice.
The price is $900 but other than the Griffey Card's value I know nothing about the sealed set.
Griffey of course is #1 and on top and never opened.

Does anyone have any feeling about the demand for such a set left factory sealed? I do not want to collect the set but sell the set as I have another platinum Griffey card.

Any help from anyone would be appreciated as I'm holding on the transaction until I get enough feedback.

I have googled every variation I can think of and can not find even ONE other sealed set of these cards.

Thanks and again Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families

That price sounds way too high. All MiLB stuff has taken a huge dip over the past, well, decade. I would say that if that set were put on eBay auction style, it may fetch $200. It would be virtually 100% based on the Griffey. I mean, I don't know who else is in the set but thinking of M's in the 90's, Edgar Martinez seems like the best since the Big Unit would have been in the Expos organization at the time. I mean you could have Jay Buhner in there! Like I said, that set is all about the Griffey and since all Minor League team sets have pretty much been killed since the 90's, I would never pay $900 for that set.
