The 2004 DONRUSS BASEBALL BASE SET has a whole bunch of parallel and insert sets in it and figuring out what is what can be a total headache. After I subbed these 4 items I found - make that I realized - that I have the same looking cards but some have #6 numbering and some #DK6 = meaning I have ZERO clue what I really own ( who is not surprised- so many insert sets its why inventory taking is vital !! ). The Orange County's been slabbed forever ( slabbed it in 2006) rest are relatively newer. Maybe sometime in the future when I get more boxes here I'll try and figure out what I still need = for now 4 new updated scan additions

These are SUPER annoying. All DKs in 04 and 05. I am knee deep in tcdb logging and it's insane.

Personal opinion expressed here- NO. I wouldn't trust or believe it even if I saw a Clemens one from this Game Face series. A casual reminder buddy that Yankees jerseys do not have names on them- just numbers. I also do not believe the back of the card itself that says its from an "official" MLB game. Notice how it avoids mentioning what type of game. Could have been an old timers game, spring training, or a special event game where official MLB uniforms were worn. How convenient that limited statement is. Since Steiner also had exclusive rights to Yankees game used stuff during that time period , UD would have had to pay out the a* for anything good. Highly doubt that company would have wanted to do so and put it into such a lower end product. Now if it appeared in an Ultimate card, or on one of their ultra limited Super Patches- sure. But inside a base / manufactured product like Game Face -no. Any I saw I'd avoid as a "manufactured" or "tampered" item.

Again- personal opinion

Agree. No previous knowledge or evidence of Rocket multicolor patches in Game Face, just black ones.

Back in May 2024 was able to get 3 of my base card 2005 LEAF 4 STAR STAFFS done plus one Die Cut
Have now slabbed two more items and just need to locate my one missing base and one die cut variation and that subsets complete. Actually like how the new scans came out better than the older ones with the top open

BELOW IS TWO NEWLY SLABBED DIE CUTS

PRIOR SHOWN DIE CUT

Also was able to add two more variations to my never ending 2004 LEAF EXHIBITS
Think I am almost halfway slabbed now for variations on the base 44 card set ( maybe 1/3 done on the 2nd Edition variations). Below is my two newly slabbed variations

Also slabbed another upgrade from 2000 Pacific Revolution Triple Header HoloSilver # to 299
While its an improvement over the BGS 6.5 that had chipping issues think another one I have there at BGS now will grade higher. Just can't seem to locate one without the excessive edge chipping that series seems to have

Back in May 2024 posted the first few slabs from my 2003 Fleer Box Score stash and located a bunch of raw
THIS 2003 FBS PRIOR POST

A few of the raws been converted and are now filtering back from BGS a slab or two at a time
Waited until I had enough to make it worthwhile to scan in a bunch and handled it today
Think there is a few more items ( the single and dual Press Clippings plus some minis ) to return and should be done with what I had in house

Got a bunch more mini / sticker / miscellaneous items slabbed and scans caught up
First two are from the 2002 and 2003 Fleer Box Score series. Have to locate my base 2002 regular and Mini and slab both - already have the 2002 mini jersey version done

The 2000 Pacific Revolution upgraded that 7.5 that upgraded the prior 6.5- almost got the acceptable chipping level down. Now if I could just locate one in my PC that has minimal chipping I may get to the 8.5 minimum I want for registry. It's a challenge as anyone who collects Pacific knows 8's and below are normal, above that are difficult even with pack fresh items. Some series come out cut great and some are like Fleers - just lots of edge chipping due to the production methods. The base #73 is the brother to the Silver I showed a few weeks back. Not sure where my Platinum Blue is for that series

Been digging out my Ichiro and CC slabs now that summer and Hall of Fame induction ceremonies are coming up so another is slabbed / scanned. I have a bunch of 1980's and 1990's misc to scan soon once I catch up on the dozen or so I'm behind

Some 1980's inserts of Clemens now slabbed. I have tons more buried I have to dig out
Was into food issues and discs back then. Wish I could see my floor soon but least I'm making progress
I was actually searching for a bunch of 1988-89 Topps sticker back variations I have when I saw these
Decided to slab and protect and continue my search. Excessive top chipping and diamond canting prevents that Mini from being higher
The stamp sat here forever finally just sent in. The sticker is annoying me. I forgot to check surface- my bad
Knew centering and surface was great just forgot to take it out before mailing. Surface indent is why the grades what it is
