I pulled these two cards out of a dime box at a show a few months back, and am completely stumped on what set they're from.
The cards are identical to 2006 UD, but have printed text/logos in where the foil stamping would be. The card number and photo matches up with Capps' card in UD Series 1, while the Casey has the card numbering from Series 1, which pictured him as a Red, but the photo used for Series 2.
It doesn't match any pack-issued cards that I know of, since UD First Pitch had a different design from base UD in '06, and they hadn't yet introduced First Edition. I also don't remember any SGA set or locally issued set from that year, and I would think the cards would be sequentially numbered rather than skip numbered.
Have any player/team collectors seen anything like this before? I'm completely stumped on where they came from.
