This is a money keeper league. All players have contracts and it is an auction style draft.

Here are the details.

I am offered:
Ryan Howard Contract is 4/4 & will expire at the end of the season. Cost $30

He wants:
Pablo Sandoval 2/3 $3
Ben Zobrist 2/3 $10 or Shin Shoo-Choo 2/3 $6

I know that Howard is a monster when it comes to fantasy numbers, but it would put me down a guy at the auction and my starting salary higher. We have a total of $260 to spend minus the players salaries that I keep. We can, but don't have to keep 10 players. Also all players start with a 3 year contract. After the first season you can contract the player out at the end of year 2. Minimum of 2 more years at $5 per year on top of the original auction value. I am really thinking about contracting Sandoval out for like 4 years.

ALSO I have another offer to think about:
I send:
Gavin Floyd 2/3 $1

I get:
Brian McCann 2/3 $24

Just looking for ideas, thoughts and comments.

I'd keep Sandoval. He's cheaper, he's a beast, he's under contract for another year, and he's able to be used at multiple positions.

There are plenty of solid first basemen out there, but few GREAT catchers (assuming he's eligible next year) and third basemen.

Sandoval is eligible at 1st and 3rd.

Here is my tentative 10 player keep list with salaries. Baring any trades.

Sandoval 1B/3B $3
Kinsler 2B $41
Zobrist 2B/OF $10
Choo OF $6
Nyger Morgan OF $10

Beckett SP $19
Cain SP $13
Felix Hernandez SP $22
Gavin Floyd SP $1
Edwin Jackson SP $10 / Ryan Franklin CP $10

I also have an offer for Gavin Floyd for Brian McCann. McCann is $24 and has the same contract as Floyd. I am not to sure on Edwin Jackson now that he is in Arizona. They don't seem to win alot for their starters.

We also added two more teams to bring the total to 12 teams. Keeping that in mind players will cost more for me at the auction now. The two teams we added had an expansion draft and both teams suck so they will be spending money where money shouldn't be spent so high.

As far as Sandoval I just can't see myself trading him. I just grabbed him for $3 cause the guy that bid $2 said nah he won't be that good. I could end up having him for the next 5 seasons for $23.
