I was scammed a guy on youtube named baseballcards18 offered me a yu darvish chrome auto graded 9.5 for a starlin castro 3 color patch I had from museum collection. I sent and he never shipped I asked him and he even admitted he was a scammer. now I just lost a 30 $ card. So I make a second account named joe bob and offered him a Bryce harper auto /25, a buster posey 4 color patch 1/1 auto and a paul goldsmidt auto /5 ( cards which I obviously don't have ) for his darvish graded. I told him to ship first so when I get my darvish I would tell him on the account he scammed me on that I received his card, and a deal is a deal and then block him. he agreed to the fake deal I offered him on my fake account and I told him to ship first, and he said no. so then I said I am going to ask my friend cardcorc if I should ship first. he didn't want that to happen because he didn't want cardcorc (who is really me) to tell joe Bob (who is really me) That he is a scammer. so we settled on shipping on the same time. I obviously am not going to send his Bryce harper auto /25, a buster posey 4 color patch 1/1 auto and a paul goldsmidt auto /5 (because I randomly made them up and offered it to him) and he said he will ship Monday but im not sure if he is going to. Did I do the right thing?

This is just crazy. Basically you got straight up scammed and now you're trying to scam a scammer lol. Not saying you're in the wrong but just find this entire story and situation crazy.

Somehow I don't think that trying to scam the scammer is really going to accomplish your goal.

Serious question, would the cops care about a $30 card? Postal inspector (mail fraud)? Just wondering.

Theft is theft, if you have proof you sent him something for an agreed upon deal, you have his name and address, and his admission for scamming you, bring all that info to his local PD's attention. If you blindly sent something of value to a youtuber without all of these things then you should just chalk it up to a lesson learned and at $30 a fairly cheap one.
