Need help with this Auto'd ball.... Mantle experts needed

Just need to know if you think this is a good Mantle auto or not. I'm going to another Estate Auction tomorrow and they have this ball pictured in their add.

Looks like they went back and added the "i". Keep in mind - one of the most forged signatures ever. If you could get it for under $25, go for it.

There is too much curve on the top of the "c", the "y" has a loop on the top right which doesn't look right and, as Adam pointed out, the "i" looks quite strange.

I agree with Adam and Bill.
The signature just looks off, almost lopsided.
Mantle had an extremely consistent signature in his retirement years that flowed evenly.
It looks different than my Mantle ball and 8x10 that he signed in person for me at a show in 1990.

I have several signed Mantle balls that I got IP and I wouldn't touch that one.

Thanks guys. This is one of the many reasons why this is the best board out there.

Most of the stuff listed has Upper Deck COA's, but haven't seen what kind the Mantle has.
