ebay doesnt allow MO anymore but i still allow buyers to send them to me if they ask. i dont see an issue with it just let him send a MO. Saves you the paypal fees.

I sold my first card on ebay, and the winner doesn't have a paypal account, what do I do??? Here is the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0404236726. The buyer told me to second chance it because he only has money order. He asked me the question if I accepted money orders and I said no and he still bid on it.

Why won't you accept a MO? Its actually safer than paypal so long as you cash it before you send the card.

Congrats on your first sale! You can either accept the money order, then wait until it clears before you ship the card, or you can just send the next highest bidder a second-chance offer. Your choice.

I'd be wary of the 0-feedback bidder, so I'd probably choose the second-chance offer. If the winning bidder had some sort of eBay history, I'd have no problem accepting a money order (no PayPal fees).

Wow nice of the newbie to run up the price for you and then bail
File with eBay and relist the card. If you second chance it to the next highest bidder
he may think that you are the one with the zero feedback and you may have dome it to get more. LOL

And I would block all of the people with zero feedback from bidding on my auctions if I was you

Thanks for the help, I didn't accept MO because I thought that they were riskier.

Its basically like cash. Just bring it to the bank and have them cash it, then send the card. The buyer has no course of retaliation like paypal offers

Thanks for all the help, I sent him a message saying to send a money order and once it clears I will send the card. If it doesn't clear or something like that I will send a second chance offer.

Only if they are a western union money order, if I take them I ask for a postal money order

I asked them for a postal money order and they said he would send that.

What a jerk.

If you're cool with accepting a money order, then no harm done. Aso long as the guy pays. I know we all start out with 0 feedback at some point, but it still makes me iffy on bidders.
