Hey guys im just looking to see what you guys can suggest I do in this hobby. Ive gotten very bored of collecting prospects and it seems like every new product coming out is just not worth looking at. So I ask, can anyone help me out?? maybe its collecting a specific set, an auto set GU set anything. Maybe its something you do and want to pass it on whatever. Let's hear it

Before I did prospects I did Heritage, I will proabley get back into again, I really enjoyed that - especiallly if you pull an auto. Before that I did RC's of 90's players, not any really expensive stuff during that time period, but it was fun searching 10 cent boxes for all the Luis Gonzalaz rcs and stuff like that.

Two words, Vin Tage. I am slowly becoming a vintage/Hall of Famer guy. It's like, do you want to buysellandtrade gold, or silver and copper? Gold is the way to go and vintage is hobby gold.

That trailer park at 130 and 168
Go random and pick up anything that looks cool. I've been doing the 80's and 90's rookie card thing too, at first I was going for PSA 10s but the slabs got to be too much so now I just collect them raw, I think that in most cases the top loader is worth more than the card but it's a lot of fun for me. I'm also going back into picking up random inserts that are cheap and fun. Plus, going cheap on the day to day stuff keeps me occupied but still allows me to save up money for the big buys once or twice a year. Keep in mind that I've been collecting since 1984 and have pretty much exhausted every collecting niche, so the free form thing works a little bit better for me maybe.
