I've been working on a website for my collection with my brother. I'm hoping to display and list my cards as well as display some sketches. The dilema I've been having is how to list my collection on the website. I have a database in microsoft access that I've been using to catalog my cards. From there I can make a nice excel or word document of what I've got. The database has many categories like player name, team, card brand, serial numbering, card number, etc.

What I want to do is display this on a webpage that will sort the data for me. For example, with each card reading horizontally, and the categories vertically, I'd like to list the cards and be able to sort by player name, team, card brand or whichever I chose on the webpage.....sort of the way you can sort searches on ebay by acending or decending end time, price, etc. I hope that explanation was good. Is there any way to do that? or would it be too much of a pain to make happen?

Thanks for any help.

ps....if doing what I want is possible, but I can't do it on my own, I'd possibly be willing to pay someone with the expertise to help me either with paypal or sketches, depending on how difficult the job is.

I can do it for you. I'd just need you to e-mail me one of the Access files to test it, as well as the path to each file on your computer. (Meaning like C:/Windows/My Documets/PlayerList1.mbd)

I could explain it, but it would take some typing, and you would have to have the same software as me (which is Microsoft Expressions), and I'm not 100% sure, so I'd have to play around a little. It should also keep it live, so when you edit the Access file, it will show up on the page. The only thing is that it would be a .aspx page. I'm not sure if all browsers can view it or not. I could still try it out for you. Just let me know if you want me to help you out and I'll PM you my email address.

EDIT - I'm just going to PM you my email if you'd like me to give it a shot.
