That was very similar to Aaron Boone's 2003 ALCS shot.

First pitch in the 11th to Cruz, a no doubter off of Wakefield.

That was eerily similar to be honest.

Once it went to extras I knew we were not going to win...I'm just glad it didn't go like 19 innings with Darnell McDonald on the mound ::facepalm::

F--- our pitching tonight, just awful.

9 runs of run support should be PLENTY

That was identical to Boone.

Totally crazy!

The second the ball hit the bat it reminded me of boone. the fact that it was an 11th inning first pitch home run makes it that much more crazy!

Umm, down by only one run in the 6th?

And what does that have to do with this thread?

Because you started the offtopic discussion maybe?

By the way, how have the Sox done against the Royals this year? The Orioles? The Mariners?

Plus, your pitching and defense couldn't hold a six run lead?

Back to the topic on hand, Nelson Cruz Aaron Boone'd!

LOL this is what I love about some Yankees fans. Your team is going to win the division and you get so defensive SO quickly. Its amazing to watch. ::facepalm::

I dont get it? The Red Sox are a 3rd place team...why point out their record against any team let alone the one the Yankees are losing to? Whats YOUR point?
