Nets to fire Lawrence Frank this week.

According to a Yahoo! Sports report, the Nets have decided to fire head coach Lawrence Frank early this week.
Frank led the franchise to an 0-16 record this season, one game shy of the NBA's all-time worst mark. He will coach the team Sunday against the Lakers, an ignominious end to his up-and-down tenure in New Jersey. The plan is for GM Kiki Vandeweghe to take over coaching duties, though veteran assistant John Loyer could get the job.

Funny how Yahoo! finds out before Frank does.

I will believe it when I see it. The players like him. They just have very little talent outside of Lopez and Harris.

I think you can blame the GM more for letting the team get to where they are. The players are playing half a#% and there are college teams better than the Nets. I've look forward to the comedy show on Sportscenter every morning when they show the Nets blunders. It's not the coach's fault PROFESSIONAL players making millions air-ball free throws and dribble balls off their feet.

I get tired of the organization using the coach as the scapegoat for someone else's mistake.

Honestly I think if any other coaches teams were to go 0-16 they would also more than likley get canned. I think Frank did the best he could with what he had and in the end just ran in so some serious bad luck. He will find another coaching gig so he should ultimatley be Ok in the end.
