New Center Piece to My Giants Game Used Collection

First off, sorry for the huge images.

Well maybe the items isn't game used, but celebration used. I know that some folks probably think this is an odd item to want to own, let alone make it the center piece of a collection, but I love this bottle.

A celebration used champagne bottle from the Giants World Championship celebration.

The Giants winning the World Series was one of the top moments of my life, before I met my wife and had my kids I would have ranked the moment #1. So to own a small piece of that celebration, some small piece of excitement and joy that the players and the fans felt is an amazing thing to me. Now I just need to find a nice display case for it. :mrgreen:

actually not an odd piece, if i could find one for the 06 WS i'd put it with all my cardinals world series balls. If you don't mind me asking about how much did you pay? I only ask because the card shop i go to had 2 of them because one of the guys has a media pass. They ended up selling both of them with photos and tickets and media passes and all that stuff. Nice bottle though

I only ask because the card shop i go to had 2 of them because one of the guys has a media pass. They ended up selling both of them with photos and tickets and media passes and all that stuff. The bottle was $199 plus shipping and tax, but it does have MLB authentication. The Giants also had for sale bottles from the NLCS, NLDS and NL West clinching games. How much was the bottles at the shop?

That's one of the reasons I wanted one of these so badly, I had decided after 2002 that I would never see the Giants win a World Series. Now that they have I just had to have a bottle. I actually have paid a lot less for full jerseys, batting helmets and bats, but this a great $200 spent in my opinion.

I have a framed display from 2007 with tickets from all 4 games (I was at game 1 ).

WOW awesome, they put one up in the store for $500 and sold on online for $800. I contemplated picking it up for about half a second to have Posey sign it in spring training but then i realized I dont like the giants that much ($500 worth i should say) that is an amazing piece to add to your collection though, congrats! Like i said, wish i had one for 2006 cardinals

I was thinking about trying to at Fan Fest in Feb., but I'm not sure if I want to mess up the display of the clean bottle though. Great decision to make though.

Very true, do the Giants typically sell gloves? I haven't noticed in the past, of course I stopped buying directly from the Giants around 2001 until earlier this week when I bought the bottle.

Nope, found it somewhere else. It is MLB Authenticated. They sell other things, I am going to email them asking about other things.
