New EBAY Non Paying Bidder Info

Recently I have had a few buyers on EBAY not pay for their items they won within the 4 days I allow for payment. I used to be able to send out a NPB alert..
I see that EBAY has been cancelling the auction/BIN instead..

One item was a $100 card and one was a $3 card.. I understand someone not paying for the $100 card but the $3 card?

I've never gotten a clear answer from eBay. Do cancelled auctions show up in sold listings? If not this may be them trying to combat shilling from a different angle.

I've noticed in the last couple of months not being able to open a NPB case. Instead it just credits me back my fees and I can relist. Hopefully these NPB's still get dinged somehow even without being able to open a case against them.

I've been selling on EBay for well over a decade, not high volume, and have rarely had to deal with NPB'ers. Recently, I have had to deal with it more than in all my years combined. It seems to me that, buyers are committing to purchases and then waiting to see if the market moves before deciding to actually pay.

I meant if you searched for them on 130point or something like that trying to check comparable sales.
