I use an HP 8250 flatbed scanner.. I have one at work that they paid $850 for a few years ago, so when I found one for $67, I jumped at it..
You can look around and you might be able to find one cheap.. They can scan slides as well..

Very nice cards indeed. However, and I'm not trying to be a jerk, but Jeters sig just looks like chicken scribble. I can't make out anything that remotely looks like a letter. Still a pretty sharp card though.
