Kevbo said:ha, I listed like an hour or 2 ago and got 4 offers already, 3 of which are fair offers.
I think a lot of finding the buyers is pricing your cards accordingly.
I've searched through some cards I'm interested in, but when you list an 04 SP Gallardo auto for 160, you can't expect much action when they sell for 50-60 on ebay.
I see a lot of that on CR right now (inflated prices)
I know it's free to list and everything, but if you're searching for buyers, don't list your cards like you're Burbank when the same cards are available cheaper elsewhere.
I don't direct that at anybody in particular, not even the Gallardo guy. I understand how best offers work - but if you're looking to sell, price the stuff accordingly. If you're looking to show people what cards you have available that you might consider selling, get a photobucket. Granted, my listings on some cards are higher than what I paid (of course) but I don't try to get more on CR than I would expect to get on ebay.
Again, price your cards how you want, they're your cards - but nobody is going to pay 1.5x to 2x ebay, and your offers will reflect your prices. I'm not judging anyone, and I probably shouldn't have pointed out the Gallardo guy (not the worst, just the first example I ran across) but I just got my fifth offer (not gonna take it, but it's close) and I've been listing for less than 2 hours.
**Edit. Word up on the T-shirt Jeff - they'll be televising games too, so I'll try to get in some TV shots![]()
I agree. I've recently been listing a ton of low end 90's inserts and star cards for 25 cents-$5 and a lot of them have been getting hit. Not looking to make a killing and knowing that I'm saving 10-15% by not selling on ebay makes things easy.
