Welcome aboard. There is a Through The Mail and In Person Autograph forum to check out here, if you haven't already found it. I'm a big Yankee autograph collector, with most of mine coming TTM. I'm currently at 477 different players. Don't hesitate to ask questions here, on the autographs forum or through a private message.

That's and impressive collection. I'd love to see it sometime! Since you like TTM and IP autographs and your signature says you collect especially anything Mantle I'm sure you'd like this.



My grandpa met him and Billy Martin at a popular sports bar in Hasbrouck Heights. Got both of them to sign a business card. I believe my father has the one signed by Billy Martin. My grandpa told Billy Martin that although the team got off to a slow start that he knew they would improve prompting Billy Martin to ask what business my grandpa worked for. He responded with tobacco so Billy Martin said I don't tell you how to run your God-damn business don't tell me how to run mine. I thought that was pretty funny.

Great story. I never got to meet Mantle. However, a friend alerted me that this was up on ebay and I grabbed it up quickly:
