Nice seeing these back in the mix. Big Hurt collectors get paid.

nice concept but the airbrushed logos is just a killer for me. for the price point per box, i don't see the value.

I am sure Panini is paying these players extra to write their nicknames.

"B.P." for Big Papi is a copout.

And the players turned to the side, obscuring their logos - looks like a beautiful card. The ones with airbrushing are horrible.

Would be cool if Prime signed them a few different ways.

I love the nice bold signatures. Honestly, one does not see such sharp autographs on cards.

One would have thought they would have relied heavily on the type of photo used on the Frank Thomas card. Nothing needs to be airbrushed and it looks really nice.

this.

Looking at the cards again, with the plain black and white jerseys -- or worse, Ryno's, with a plain # on it -- they look like "all star celebrity softball" jerseys.

Wonder how short print run will be on these and who else is in it.

Big Hurt one does look the best. Carlton looks pretty good.

Panini,

1. Send a photographer to Spring Training.
2. Set up a "studio".
3. Take portrait shots.
4. Release a high-end auto'ed product with these portrait shots.

No logos, no bull. Just great photos and autos.

While Panini still needs to figure out the best photos to use I think that "on-card" is a huge win.

you know mo here. Bitch Bitch Bitch, find whatever you can and wine about it.

So what if they are cool on card inscription autos. Better to complain about photos .

I did read in blog that Oritz doesn't like to sign Big Papi. So BP is what we get. Sounds like him even doing that is pretty rare. Does he have any other inscription cards on market where he signs Big Papi? paging Beefy.
