His heat when I saw him pitch wasn't 92-95 it was 91-93 and touched 94 once.

When did you see him pitch? If it was late in the season, his velocity dipped a bit because of arm fatigue.

I saw him in mid August in his career AAA start against the Yankees. He threw a good slider, but his curve and changeup flat out sucked. I compared him to BJ Ryan watching him pitch. He got taken yard by Juan Miranda for a 400+ foot shot.

By that time the velocity on his fastball and dropped to the high 80's low 90's, or so I have heard. When he is fresh his fastball can be almost as effective as his slider.

Oh, I know all about him. I've been following him real close since him and J.P. have been on pretty much the same path. I just think he'll eventually end up as a closer (or at least I think he should). And I agree, he could be dominant as a closer.
