Hey guys, couple months ago I decided to cut back on my prospect collections and dediced to focus on star chrome RC autos and vintage. Well I sold quite a few prospect cards and was able to pick up some nice pieces. Decided that since I plan on keeping these for quite some time I would go after several low grade cards instead of just a couple high-grades..

very nice stuff. One day I'll start adding to a post-war vintage collection, but I must resist for now or I won't have any $$ for anything else. Pre-war has a pretty big hold on me right now.

I would love to get into the pre-war cards...I think they are beautiful cards that are all so full of stories, nostalgia, and history. However, I am going to have to study up on them first and I still have a handful of post war RC's to go after before I do.

Hey Guys, wanted to update my vintage PC thread with my latest additions. Picked up the 1948 Bowman Bob Feller for $30 and added a little Dan Marino goodness for my first football addition.

I guess i've been in the football mood last week. Picked up nicely priced, mid grade Rookies of 2 of Mississippi's finest footballers ever!

Just curious, why did the Jordan only warrant authentic and not an actual grade, it doesn't look too bad.

Good question. I emailed BGS with the label number hoping to get a specific answer and just got the general answer of that it likely was subbed with a minimum grade that it did not meet or that the original submitter requested the card be authenticated rather than have a numerical grade.
