NYC used to have a good 5+ card shops. Sadly, most have gone out of business.

The only one I go to in the city is the one near the WTC in Maiden Lane. Just google it and it's right near the corner (you can't miss it). The prices are higher than normal but you have to remember that they cater to the Wall St. crowd so they are more apt to pay those prices.

Another one is uptown Alex's MVP Sports Cards. WAAAAAAAAY over priced with a severe lack of inventory. You can look them up also on google. They are on E80's between 2nd and 3rd ave. I wouldn't recommend going there.

If you are the more adventurous type, go to Grand Central and take Metro North up to White Plains for the East Coast National Show. The ride roundtrip should be like $10+ per person. It's like 45 minutes and the show is a 5 minute walk from the train station.

The name of the store is Chameleon Comics - located at 3 Maiden Lane right off Broadway in Lower Manhattan

Take the 4 or 5 train to the Fulton Street Station and walk south 2 blocks - Can't miss it

Large selection - & the prices aren't that unreasonable - I'd recommend a look - the store owner is Steve, the Mgr is Victor & along with Fred ask if you don't see what you're looking for ---very very friendly & helpful
