Newbie to football, best RC products?

I'm a long time baseball collector but I'm looking to dabble in football. I've never touched the stuff or followed any of the releases.

Just as baseball has Bowman 1st Yr cards, does football have THE rookie card?

Wow, surprised I didn't notice you on the site sooner. (I read your blog ).

Anyways, from what I know (and what I remember) Leaf Certified Materials and SP Authentic are two biggies. Not to mention i think Chrome (both bowman and topps) are big as well.
