Right now it looks as if the Scheduled surgery date will be the 16th of the month. It would have been done already but he contracted a Bacterial Infection that requires 14 days of antibiotic treatment before they will preform the surgery.

Not trying to clog up the boards but wanted to leave updates when I can.

Thanks
John

Don't really know much about what's going on but hope everything goes smoothly.

When I was first born I apparantly contracted some disease from my mom who had a false-negative on one of her tests. I stayed at the hospital for 10 days in an isolated area and they thought I wouldn't make it, but as far as I know I've lived a relatively healthy life thus far. :D :D

Good luck to you and to your family. Unfortunately I know what you're going through as my oldest spent two months in the NICU and had two major surgeries before we were able to bring him home. He's doing amazingly now but I know the stress and worry you're going through right now and I'm sorry for it. Hang in there!

Hi John,

Hang in there man! It'll get better soon. It's tough having to watch your new little one in a hospital crib, but you'll have him home soon. My oldest boy developed a pneumothorax (air outside lung) at birth, and was whisked away almost immediately to NICU where he stayed for 3 days. Didn't get to hold him at all. He didn't need surgery thankfully and it went away on its own, but it was tough and emotional. I'll be sending a prayer up for you and your little man.

Dave
