Always get sniped on these, Finally won one! If you have never seen a Passing the Torch auto in person, you have to! Scan does not do justice!

Thanks. No, not at this time. The last one I seen sold at around $800. You can get a certified auto of each at around $100 a piece. I am going to wait until it comes down some more before I snag that one.

Great card, I love the look of these. My Andruw is definitely one of the best looking autographed cards in my collection.

Don't have the Andruw solo scanned, just the dual

Those look gorgeous!!!! I may have to see if there's a cheaper auto in the set that I'd want

I would suggest to get a 2001. The later years look worse and worse imo. You cannot beat 2001 for quality. Good luck, and please post if you get one!

Nice card! The 2001 Elite PTT set looks like it has the same stock/finish as the 1998 Crusades. This Bonds looks much like a Red Crusade with an auto.

nevermore- I have never seen a crusade in person, but the 2001 Elite PTT has that same finish on both sides as you see on the dual. I may have to pick up a Crusade just to compare.

P.S. I have a Paul O'Neill gued that is just like the auto gued in your sig, but without the auto. My brother pulled it. I am sure since you have the autoed version that you probably have it too.

They do have a very similar type finish, the auto's are quite as glossy looking as a crusade when side by side.

bodiaz - Thanks for asking, but I do have the GU version. It is just not scanned at the moment. Congrats again, I'm sure these older autos are impossible to track down.

Fandruw25 - I don't have either but that was just my impression from the scans. So, yes? Or did you mean to say the autos "aren't" as glossy looking as the Crusade? (Sorry, I don't mean to question your opinion, but the sentence sounds better the second way.)
