None of the above will get to Pujols like levels. From those listed and mentioned here, I'd say that Stanton and Alvarez have the best chance at putting up HOF type careers based on their production so far and their potential for the future.

Funny how all of you think or act like you knew Pujols was going to be as great as he is. If we all knew this we would be sipping margaritas on the beach. He was somewhat unknown and any of these players can have that impact you do not know. The poll is just a poll and I left several names out, but there is a limit you can have, and that is 10.

All of MLB had no clue either. Nobody is claiming oracle status. Pujols is a once or twice in a generation player that really doesn't get as much credit as he deserves.

Funny how high people regard Santana now when just a few months ago his stuff was dirt cheap.

I vote for Montero but honestly there might not ever be another pujols.

I thought this had nothing to do with cards, but I'd say Santana flew under the radar because he doesn't play for a team that will likely send him to rot in Milwaukee for the rest of his career for Prince Fielder. Just my thoughts though.

Mostly because he wasn't a first round pick and lacked that pedigree.

13th...and thank goodness Bobby Bonilla got hurt the year he got called up because they were going to send him back down. BTW- heard them talking the other night on ESPN and stated that they were going to send him down and Mcguire went to LaRussa and pleaded his case to stay up saying "this kid can flat out hit".
The rest is history....
