NFL Icons Redemptions Shipping - Details Here (Bonus Card!?)

Just got this info from UD's FaceBook. That special Favre card will probably fetch a high price.

Collectors, we are happy to announce the NFL Icons redemptions of Brett Favre, Barack Obama and others have been finished. They are in the process of being packaged and will begin shipping this week.

For your patience with these cards, we are including a bonus card with each redemption of one of the NFL's hottest ...players right now, Brett Favre. We produced six different cards featuring Favre in a Vikings uniform and a facsimilie signature. These will randomly be inserted with the live redemption cards mailing out now. We appreciate your patience with this process.

I should have taken a replacement on these cards, I thought for sure they would have included something autographed for the over 1 year wait on these cards!

The bonus cards are from a set of 6.
While I'm sure there will be plenty of collectors trying to complete the set there's no way in hell they'll touch the price of an auto.
I redeemed my Favre redemption September 28th 2008, over 13 months ago.
It's pathetic that it took UD this long to redeem a non-game used/non-auto'd card. PERIOD.
After tons of deadend emails and phone calls all I've ever gotten was lies from UD with a time period when these cards would ship.
Might have been a decent card last year when Favre was actually with the Jets but not anymore.
13 months was not worth some lousy Brett Favre insert.
Yea.....I'm pissed!

I think you're underestimating the power of Favre fanship. He's hotter now than ever before. People clamored to get his first Vikings base cards, and some of the first released Threads base went for $40-60 I believe. If you get the Favre card, throw it on ebay. You'll make a great deal. Of course there are some autos that will sell for more, but UD wouldn't send those top guys as a "sorry". They'd send you something in the mid level that this limited edition Favre will equal or exceed. Heck a Topps Finest refractor sells for $15+ shipping. A base Finest sold for $10 + shipping.

I do agree it's pathetic that it took UD this long to make a simple patch card.
