I really need to buy a PS3 
I bought NHL 2K11 the other day and it really isn't much different than 2K10. there are a few move moves but the Wii Motion Plus still sucks and that was the thing they claim to have improved the most ::facepalm::
another thing that really sucks is the schedule is the 2009-10 schedule not 2010-11. they don't even have a download available for this season's schedule.

I had NHL 03 for the PC (With Iggy) and they had the 04 Olympic break...in the next years of the sked in the game, it still had the 2 week break. I played for about 3 years I think...best trade was Savard and Someone for Hossa and Havlat. I was unstoppable!

I just got it today for PS3. I went straight to Be a GM mode and immediately fell in love with the fantasy draft feature. Normally I use season mode, but I would like to play more than 1 season. My pet peeve for building a franchise from scratch is take no one older than 23. I took the Penguins franchise and here's my roster with 18 skaters and 2 goalies:
C Anze Kopitar, Tyler Ennis, Ryan O'Reilly, Lars Eller
LW James Van Riemsdyk, David Perron, Evander Kane, Mikkel Boedker
RW Chris Stewart, Cal Clutterbuck, Michael Grabner, Viktor Tikhonov
D Tyler Myers, Kris Letang, Kris Russell, Michael Del Zotto, P.K. Subban, Erik Karlsson
G Semyon Varlamov, Riku Helenius
It's a serpentine draft, so I started with the 15 and it alternates to 16 in the next round, and so on. This way I have the least amount of CPU picks in between my picks. It is tough to draft all your favorite players because all the good young players go quickly. The disappointing part is Kopitar has not earned a rating of at least 90 yet even after a career year. He is an 87, but he's my man anyways. My team is an 87 on offense, 82 on defense, and an 88 for goalie. Not too shabby of ratings considering I limit my roster to young players only. I love it so far and recommend it to anyone. I'm hooked

Ive been playing NHL 11 for the 360 the last few days and LOVE IT!
Ive been working on my eashl player.
My only real complaint is when you are playing w/ your EASHL player, your team-mates dont play the game the way they should. Most of the D, play like they are Wings and leave the goalie all alone.

Yes Bilko the CHL teams are in the game. However, they might be with last year's rosters, but I am not 100% sure.....I need to mess around with it some more. I only played two games last night, and one of them was against the Windsor Spitfires. Taylor Hall and Cam Fowler were on the Spitfires.

I beat the Flyers at home 11 to 1 first game of the season. I earned rookie GM status in 2 days, so the CPU boss was impressed. I got a lineup I like and the team is considered premier in offense at 87 rating and 88 rating in-goal. My defense is a 82, but Myers is undervalued on this game considering how good he was his rookie year. You can stack your AHL affiliate with CHL players signed in free agency. I signed guys like Alex Burmistrov, Mikael Granlund, Brayden Schenn, Jordan Eberle, Brett Connolly, and Cam Fowler. This is the best hockey game I have played bar none. I have played both EA NHL and NHL 2k, even in the same year, and this is the best hands down. It's long season, so here we go...

Yea I am also addicted to this mode. I refuse to buy packs with real money, but just can't get up to 7,500 pucks to get a jumbo pack. I always need to buy a new pack to get some contracts or players with a contract.
Thus leaving my team with many minor league players, and only 2 NHL players. Problem is my NHLers are Tom Kostopolous and Mike Methot, so my other guys are a little better.
I love scowering the trade market and getting some sleepers or steals for cheap.
Right now my record is 28-8-1, and 9-3-1 online. Game is so addicting, btw I am on PS3 and gamer tag is DK_Jurgy

Nevermind. I just wasted $20 and thousands of ea pucks to ultimately to get not enough players I like. Turns out ultimate team mode is a joke because anybody that is young and can help your team costs too much. Oh well :evil:

First line consists of Selanne, Marchant, and Ryan. Second line is pandolfo, malhotra, and knuble. So 2 pretty solid lines. And my goalie is Jonas Hiller

Nice lineup.
Here's my weekly update. I ended up playing well online and winning an online tournament. I have gotten 3 jumbo packs overall. My top pack pulls have been Ray Emery (82, sold for 1500) and Duncan Keith (87, trained to 90, hanging onto him).
My top players right now are:
F- Oscar Moller (80 trained 7/7), Tyler Kennedy (79, very good, probably cheap player has all low 80's, high 70 stats)
D- Duncan Keith (90)
G- Chet Pickard (79, trained 7/8)
