Hi all,

Finally got my first box of this and did pretty well:

Got the correct number of inserts according to the odds.

And then got three Relic cards!

WWII D-Day Uniform 22nd Infantry #AH-WWII3

WWI Soldier Leggings #AHWWI5

Space Shuttle Columbia Space Shuttle Orbiter Payload Bay Thermal Blanket #HSFR-SSC7

Really pleased with the relic cards!

Haven't checked to see if I got the base set completed or not.

Nice! It's a shame the military relics can't talk. I'd really enjoy knowing about the original owners!

Funny, I was thinking along the same lines. Looking at the WWI and WWII DDay relic, it made me wonder about the story behind the man who originally owned/wore the piece. A long overdue set, in my opinion. These are part of my permanent collection now. :)

I believe I'd have to hold on to them just because of my military connection (retired USAF). My history teacher as a Jr in H.S. was a Marine who was part of the Normandy/D-Day invasion. He was, quite possibly, one of the most interesting people I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. When we got to WWII, he put down the lesson plan and told us what it was really like.

Definitely can learn a lot from that generation about sacrifice and dedication.

Believe it was $65. Bought from my local shop and don't mind paying more than ebay/show prices as he is a good guy. Shop has been there for over 25 years, which is something in this industry!
