I am truly in shock.

And like NEC...first Mask, now Nick...I hated driving in SoCal but this is just sad.

Wow.

Sorry I have to ask, but who's Mask?

Think they retire his number?
I doubt it.

Very sad news indeed :( :( :( :( I was just talking last night about how special a pitcher Adenhart is, and that he is finally starting to show it at the MLB level

My thoughts and prayers are with his family

One of the founders of TapOut. He was killed by a drunk driver a few weeks ago.

Oh My God. This is so sad. Ive never been a huge fan of Adenhart, but after last night, I was beginning to think he might be a good pitcher. SO young, and so much potential.

I am in complete shock.

If Lackey, Santana, and Escobar weren't hurt would he have been in the majors right now?

Re: nick adenhardt killed!!!???

All over the local news this morning and the pictures of the wreck don't make it any less tragic.

Why is selling so "wrong?"

Is buying more "right?"

If Fuentes didn't blow that save, everything would have been a lot different today.

Very Sad news there. Whoever is in the ESPN switchboard room was not thinking because after they first said something about it the first time on SportsCenter they went to commercial. The commercial was a 15 second one of two NASCAR drivers talking about wrecks.

People may take this as a classless post, but I actually get what you mean. If Fuentes hung on and Adenhart had gotten the win, the series of events after the game likely would have changed. He likely sticks around at the park a bit longer, or maybe goes out somewhere to celebrate. We're talking about a matter of seconds here. As awful as it is to think about, it makes at least some sense.
