Accidentally shot his friend and then panicked, dumped his body in another location, and got rid of the gun. Crazy.

You panic and dump his body in another location? What a moron. If you panic... why not just leave the scene of the crime... not pack him into ur card and dump him in another location.

Dont know the Van Exel household... but if Nick was with his son his entire life he was probably feed with a silver spoon...and had everything he ever wanted... prison life is going to be one hell of a change.

Terrible to hear this, I grew up watching Nick Van Exel play and his name broguht back fond memories until I read "charged with capital murder". Its a definite ::facepalm:: if his son's story is true about "accidentally" shooting his friend and then panic dumping his body.
