Cashed out a bunch of PTO. Still have 2 weeks left in the bank. Added some to savings and buying a ton of supplies I needed.

I had a pretty stellar homemade pizza for supper tonight when I got off. Its been crappy weather here today. Lots of rain and storms.

I meant to reply to you about that. I do respect your opinion on it. What you mentioned has been a debate for many people for a long time. I guess it all depends on your individual situation.

We are capped at 160 hours. I get 160 hours a year and don't take much vacation.

We get a bunch of holidays off too, and I work from home at least one day a week. Pretty sweet gig.

I'm at the point I accrue 4 weeks a year. we cap at 200 hours. after taking 120 last October-january I'm back up to 170.
taking 6 days off in September to work on the house and fly to Washington to see "guns n roses" again

I'm on a pto system. Sucks because I never take it. I'm maxed at 128 hours so I can't accumulate any more. I don't take it because when I do my work is just waiting there when I return. My clients suffer when I'm gone as well.

No. But they probably should.


I think it's good practice to lock daily threads when they are no longer current.

I bought one more TC blaster tonight. Apparently the megas are good for me, not as much the blasters.
