Re: So the Giants have (4) CY Young Candidates?

Dan Haren with 8 IP and 10 Ks to take the MLB lead in strikeouts.

in 5 starts he has 38. In 4 starts lincecum has 32 and sanchez has 33...

but i'm loving the 4.50 ERA he's repping right now. he's lucky he can trim that down and has gotten 3 wins while having such an inflated era. lucky he actually has offensive players to back him up...

No no no...let him pimp Haren a bit. I have a few cards I need to get rid of. Thank you ;)

Haren's an underrated beast! He had a couple lousy starts, hence the high ERA. That will shoot down in no time.

Haren is the most underrated pitcher now that halladay is getting so much love in philly.

if zito and sanchez can keep it up then maybe they will be too.

and ubaldo is on a tear. i wonder if he'll keep it up.

I think Ubaldo is gonna be last years Wainwright. The fact that he was solid, but not regarded as the best and will be up there with Lincecum and Halladay.

Was thinking maybe about pelfrey, but not sure about him yet.

Ubaldo Jimenez is now 5-0. :geek:

runaway favorite at this point in the season IMO. Ubaldo has the best arsenal of stuff in all of baseball and this season he seems to finally be able to pitch to spots, something he couldn't do in years past. Appears he has turned the corner and should be regarded as a top 5-7 SP for years to come barring injury.
