Non Chrome Base Auto VS Non Auto Chrome Parallel

Lets say a player is in Bowman and Bowman Chrome. They have an auto in Bowman but not in Chrome. Would you rather have their Bowman Auto or one of their Chrome Parallels?

As a rule of thumb, I always want the first issued card - auto or not.
