Quite possibly the worst show I have ever been to. Not a single autographed or prospect card. Maybe 8 tables tops. Beanie babies, jerseys and other nonsense but hardly a card show.

Ouch, cost to get in? and how far you travel to get there?

Free show, it was at the Great Mall. I drove about an hour to get there and 30 min to get back. (I went home to Marin before the show, then back to school in Hayward after the show)

I was planning on heading over there in a few minutes, but if its that bad I will likely just skip it.

Don't waste your time. You'd have more of a selection if you drove over here and I showed you all of my cards.

I went to one there about a year ago. It was 90% football and very few tables.

Roy

Eeesh long drive for that. Not sure I will be able to make it in that case, although I do need to make some sales.

Roy, Are you sure this was the Sunrise show? I've attended the last two years and that has not been my experience. It's actually a relatively diverse show. A couple good wax dealers. A lot of guys selling semi vintage stuff but it has all been picked over pretty good. The year before last there were two guys selling Bowman Chrome and Team USA singles at pretty good prices. I usually find a few bargains here and there. Not a bonanza but usually worth the one hour drive for me. I'll be arriving at the Sac airport on my way back from Dodgertown and will be heading straight to the Sunrise mall since it's on my way home. If I remember to pack it, I'll be wearing my Bobby Crosby A's jersey to the show. Too many rude and vulgar Giants fans for me to wear my Dodgers jersey. Children at the show don't need to hear the F-Bomb being thrown around.

WOW Just heard from one of my dealer contacts that the show was canceled at 3pm on Friday! Glad I didn't make the drive.

I stopped by the Sunrise mall on my way back from the airport and the show was MIA :-(
