I was at work (Target) tonight, as usual. For lunch I decided to head up the card section and poke around. After a few minutes of looking around, I settled on a couple packs of American Idol Season 3 from the $.99 box. I figured it would be a fun break if nothing else.
On a side note: I have moved into strictly non-sport from here on out, and the selection at work is pretty slim. This would explain the odd choice. In any event...
I sat down in the break room to open them. I flipped through the first pack and saw some base cards and a good old Fleer decoy. The base set design is actually pretty nice, much to my surprise. I opened the second pack and just about dropped it. There in the middle was an auto!

Even without knowing what the BV was, I was still extremely pleased. An autograph for a $.99 investment? I'll take that any day!
I just decided to look the card up a few minutes ago and I was floored. BV is $40-$50.
I know it's not terribly exciting to most of you, but I know someone will understand my joy. Thanks for reading this one! Comments are always welcome.
