Turns my stomach. I sat there and just wouldn't let myself pay the BIN, so I made an offer, but when I went back to buy it, Mike got it. Atleast it was him.

Funny that an unlicensed card of a minor leaguer sells for far more than all the pathetic licensed Topps cards of major leaguers that uniquebaseballcards has in his sig

it's best not to go LOOKING for fights.

I understand that they happen, but man this is just asking for it.

Then to be fair, tell him to stop looking for fights in EVERY prospecting/Bowman Chrome/major vs. minor league thread

I actually enjoy his posts in the 90's etc threads that he's knowledgable about. But you, me, and everyone else knows damn well he knows nothing about prospecting and goes in to threads to troll and start fights

if he stops I'll be happy to lay off on calling him out. But if he doesn't, don't you dare expect me to stop either

one problem with this

he didn't follow you into here and specifically call YOU out

it's a bit less personal the way he does it, as hes talking about a group of people who are more than capable of defending themselves when it happens.

Some people are just hung up on value and cost of things, particularly short term, which is fine if this is how you're making your living. I'm not obsessed over value as you seem to be, especially given your initial post here.

I average 3 posts a day, so I'm obviously not posting in too many of this board's many prospecting threads...

The card above was a BIN, would be interesting to see what it would have done in an open auction. There is a 2500 BIN for a TC Super as we speak. I'd drop $1K or more on the right Topps 1/1, it isn't that much money. I bet I have more FY 1/1s and Bowman Supers than you or most anyone else here does; I also love my Topps Hamilton RC 1/1 8-)

I met the guy who pulled the card at a card show in Ohio. He told me he sold the card via bin and thought he did well. I didn't say anything at the time. In fact I think he's an FCB member now on my recomendation, but I have only seen him post a couple times.
