It's going back further than the thread asked, but Paul Konerko only has one RC, 1994 Topps Traded. He does have a 1994 Stadium Club Draft (first ever official draft set with players in ML uniforms) card in his Dodgers uniform though, but Beckett calls it an XRC.

Nick Adenhart (RIP) and Dexter Fowler were both only in 04 EEE. He's not quite "notable" yet, but I think Fowler still has a chance at having an OK career.

He also has a 2001 Donruss Class of 2001 card (which has a /50 parallel.) Between the two though, there are still only about 1000 V-Mart RC cards out there.

Detroit first baseman Ryan Strieby got the start on Wednesday for the Tigers, but knows he's not going to unseat the incumbent at that position any time soon. "I'm thinking I'm trying to help this team do well in spring training," Strieby told MLB.com. "And trying to do well for myself at the same time." Strieby just wants to show he can stay healthy after a few injury-plagued seasons. "I feel good," Strieby said. "I put a pretty big emphasis on coming in and feeling good this spring, on being strong. I'm pretty self-motivated, but coming off the roster motivates you even more. I guess you could say I come in with a little bit of a chip on my shoulder and I want to do well."

Doesn't he have 2006 Bowman Chrome and Sterling autos? Lawrie only has 2011 Bowman Chrome. If Marisnick becomes a star he could be added to the list one day.

2002 UD Prospect Premieres for Lester. "Rookie Card" is a term open to interpretation nowadays
