that's laughable...Clearly Nova was the better team and Duke wasn't athletic enough to hang with them or most big east teams.

Nova is going to the big show......I had them in Memphis.....but Memphis clearly won't be there  ....... anyways.....I'm hoping Villanova goes and wins it all......that's the only way my bracket can win at this point :?

I almost laughed at this, but then I realized how sad it is that someone could possibly be this stupid. I wonder how winning three tournament games with a total margin of victory of 56 points could possibly be luck.

Nova "got lucky" in the sense that Duke sucks now compared to even 5 years ago. There is little pro talent even though you have like 7 McDonald's All Americans. There is no real big guy that teams have to deal with like and Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer. Nova simply whooped Duke. Duke got lucky it wasn't, i don't know, 27 points.

he's a Duke fan.....so that means he's part of the SMALL percentage of America who didn't believe that Duke was an over-rated 2 seed. ;)

Duke=4-5 seed, Illinois=8 seed, Texas=5 seed, Nova=2 seed, Memphis=3 seed, and there are plenty others...

They won't have a chance until 2010 and beyond, when they finally bring in a real recruiting class. Tyler Thornton and Joshua Hairston are nasty for their 2010 class, but next year they are bringing in 2 overrated, slow white guys. Mason Plumlee is the latest mediocre player to commit to Duke and then find himself getting picked for the McDonald's All American team

I actually saw Mason and Miles plus whatever their brother (currently HS Soph) play my high school last year. They looked pretty good, then again we are not as good as we used to be. But supposedly, the who Christ School lineup had D1 offers.

They are obviously good for their level and are definitely D1 players, but there's no way they give Duke what they need to get over the hump. Thornton and Hairston absolutely do. The ACC will be fun to watch in a few years, watching the likes of Dexter Strickland (going to UNC) play Thornton and Hariston.
