I don't shop at COMC often, but I enjoy it when I do. I preloaded my account with $40 to make offers and came away with 12 cards I need for my set (including a Ewing patch), and still have $7.36 left in my account.

Yea, I don't either but the list price on the Ewing was $20. I figured I could get it for a little less with an offer, but worst case I'd pay the $20 for it. Then I was sure I could use the other $20 for offers on other stuff. I probably saved $10 by making offers.

The only other time I did it was when I saw the Jerod Mayo Topps Chrome Superfractor that was listed for $80. I figured I'd buy it for that, but added money to my account to offer $60 and got it.

A big time card on the checklist ends tomorrow. I'm hoping I can finally get it after losing the first few to show up.

I'm also starting to worry that the other 1/1 in the set might be in someone's collection already and won't see ebay.

and this one i won for $13.49 which seems pretty low. i realize its only a 9, but still seems low

I don't know enough about the set to say definitively, but it would be one big sticker. I'm assuming it's on card.
