I broke one case, and I really plan to hold a few guys I really like. I busted the case to support Razor and to give wax a shot after 4 years. Mt last cases were 2004 BCDP, 2 of them.
See the second part of what you said I can understand but the first is a bit weird. Did these people buy over their heads? Why would they take much less now when in a year or 3 they may be worth much more?
I busted 10 cases. I paid for them with a credit card, you can call that over my head or whatever, but I believed in this product. Either way, I have to recoup money to pay the credit card bill, so I have to sell. I'm doing quite well so far and believe I'm in great position to keep some cards (Gose, Hewitt, and 1 Hosmer Double Black Auto /5), buy some that I want, and pay off the CC. Some prices are lower than I'd like, but all I needed to do was get an average of $6 per auto assuming zero value out of anything else and I'm actually getting decent prices out of my Black /200. I still need to sell base sets or singles...should have moved them right away, but as Phil Mason knows, I'm lazy like that (or stupid or a little of both). I went the route of BIN with Best Offer and since that tends to drag out the process, the market is no longer flooded and I'm finding that offer prices are increasing and still coming in steadily.
